A. Moffitt Law is owned and operated by Attorney Abbey G. Moffitt Hruby. Abbey is a prominent criminal defense and record sealing attorney and founder of A. Moffitt Law. She is licensed in Colorado, offering her clients practical and effective representation during complicated legal matters. Abbey focuses her practice on criminal defense law, record sealing, and personal injury plaintiff.

Abbey believes everyone deserves the right to be represented against the vast criminal justice system. Since 2015, Abbey has been successfully representing criminal defense clients from misdemeanor, DUI/DWAI, felony and drugs charges.

Abbey sees her role as fundamental and approaches each case with compassion, empathy, dedication and zeal. She also has civil law experience, achieving six-figure outcomes at jury trial in plaintiff personal injury cases.

Abbey has volunteered extensively to provide pro bono services to seal criminal records, as well as to protestors exercising their First Amendment rights. She helped co-found the non-profit organization, Expunge Colorado, to provide free access to record sealing services for Coloradans. She has sealed more than 100 criminal cases.

Abbey was born in West Des Moines, Iowa and moved to Colorado in 2014. She graduated from Valley High School in West Des Moines, IA and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. In 2015, Abbey graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law, and passed the Colorado Bar Exam while living in Silverthorne, CO. She now lives in Littleton with her husband, and their beloved Border Collie (Storm). Abbey spends her free time hiking, gardening, traveling, seeing live music, and cheering for the Denver Broncos and Iowa Hawkeyes.
