I'm Abbey Moffitt, a record sealing and criminal defense attorney in Lakewood, Colorado. I also represent people injured in car accidents, and I've sealed hundreds of conviction records for people across the state of Colorado.
Since 2018, I have been a recognized authority on Colorado’s record sealing laws. I contributed to the drafting of SB22-099 and HB24-1133 as part of my work with the Clean Slate Coalition, and testified in support of these key reforms before both the Colorado Senate and House. I have sealed hundreds of conviction records over the past 8 years and helped secure a Governor's pardon in 2026.
Furthermore, as owner of A. Moffitt Law, I provide skilled criminal defense representation in cases involving domestic violence, property crimes, drug offenses, and DUI/DWAI, bringing skills as a former public defender.
